While MC books aren't exactly my cup of tea (too much disrespectful language & rape), Reaper isn't all that bad. A well written story with a feisty herione and damaged but well meaning 'hero'.
Reaper/Ryan has risen to the top through blood and violence, staying close to the only 'family' he knows no matter what.
Cecelia/Firefly was destroyed years ago, abandoned by the man she loved all in the name of keeping her safe; now she's free and ready to begin her life.
But the time has come for Reaper to claim what is his, whether she wants to be or not. Firefly will be by his side even if it means holding her captive and teasing them both until she begs to be his.
While it still has the obligatory crime, bloodshed and women being treated as belongings that all MC books seem to have, Crimson has weaved a tormented love story and well meaning characters into the pages.
